Game Master (m/f/d)

Do you love puzzles, enjoy interacting with people, and are looking for a varied side job? Then you’re in the right place! To strengthen our team, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and communicative game masters starting September 2025, who will provide our guests with an unforgettable escape experience.

Your Tasks  

Preparation & Follow-up

• You prepare our escape rooms for play and check the equipment.
• After the game, you prepare everything for the next group – quickly, cleanly, and carefully.

Reception & Introduction

• You greet our guests with a smile, explain the rules of the game in an authentic way, and infect them with your enthusiasm for the time travel into Hamburg’s past.
• You sell drinks, souvenirs, and vouchers, point out the cloakroom, and always keep an eye on the schedule.

Game Support

• During the game, you keep track of the process, provide creative, verbal hints when needed, and ensure a completely smooth gaming experience.
• You react spontaneously, empathetically, and situationally – no game is like the other!

Conclusion & Memories

• After the game, you take our guests on a short time travel and explain the historical backgrounds – and how these are linked to our escape rooms.
• You take cool souvenir photos and bid farewell to the guests with a positive impression.
• You ensure that the visit to us remains a good memory.

Technical Support

• You quickly intervene in case of minor technical issues – whether router, cordless drill, or improvised solutions: you find a way.

Payment Processing

• You collect payments, calculate correctly, and keep track even when the house is full.

What You Bring  

• Enthusiasm for escape games – ideally, you are a fan yourself and know the concept.
• Responsibility & reliability – you work in a structured, conscientious, and independent manner.
• Strong communication skills – you appear confident, are friendly, and can competently guide larger groups.
• Language skills – you speak fluent German and have good English skills.
• Stress resistance & flexibility – even when things get hectic, you remain calm and solution-oriented.
• You have reached the age of 18.
• You have time to support us on at least two weekdays as well as on weekends. You can find our current opening hours here.
