Here you’ll find everything you could imagine in a party mood. We’ll give you insights into the best, most beautiful, most famous, and secret treats of nightlife in our beautiful district.
… or more precisely, “Übel & Gefährlich”, cannot be missing from any overview for St. Pauli party-goers. First of all, the huge air raid shelter on the Heiligengeistfeld is really impossible to miss, but there’s a reason for that! Here you’ll find on the 4th floor of the bunker (in the other floors a private school, a bar, and a musical instrument store) a timeless classic of Hamburg’s club scene. The “ Übel und Gefährlich ” is divided into ballroom, tower room, and rooftop terrace and can be opened in its entirety or in the 3 described parts for different occasions. They’ve all played here, the “Absolute Beginner”, now known as “Beginner”, Samy Deluxe, and many other greats of the hip-hop and electronic scene. These days, like everywhere else, the very best techno and house beats hammer here.
Popular for “after-work dance attacks” because it’s only a few minutes’ walk from Fluchtweg Hamburg.
ROOSEN BAR

ROSI’S BAR
A classic on the Reeperbahn! More precisely on the Hamburger Berg. Here people dance to funk & soul and similar music. A real retro bar in the middle of the “hustle and bustle” that enjoys great popularity. Always full!
Address: Hamburger Berg 7, 20359 Hamburg
ZUR RITZE
Let’s come to one of the most historic pubs on the Reeperbahn. Endless stories revolve around the old pimps of the red-light district who used to come and go here. Boxing in the basement allowed 😉
Address: Reeperbahn 140, 20359 Hamburg
3 FREUNDE
From the Reeperbahn, halfway to Fluchtweg Hamburg, lies the “3 Freunde Cocktail Bar”. It’s worth stopping by if you’re into extravagant, hip, special drinks!
Address: Clemens-Schultz-Str. 66, 20359 Hamburg
A reawakened legend! The Mojo Club once stood for funk, soul, jazz, and big names decades ago. They were all there and they all loved the swift moves on the dance floor behind the big “M”. We’ve put together three facts that clearly prove this club is worth a visit.
Not so easy to find…
After the reopening including relocation, the Mojo Club has settled underground. From Spielbudenplatz (Docks, Schmidt Theater etc.) heading east, on the forecourt of the “Dancing Towers” (impossible to miss ;) is now the big “M”. During the day you can easily stroll over it, but on weekends the doors rise from the ground and the fun can begin.
Times have changed
In the past, it was the live performances and acts that drew the crowd to the Mojo Club. Not that this has been completely lost today, however, it’s more the exclusive underground atmosphere in a new, chic location and the new niche of electro-swing and danceable, melodic electro that fills the ranks. This stage definitely has sound!
Well-rounded place!
The Docks on Spielbudenplatz near the Reeperbahn is one of Hamburg’s largest venues (at least judging by the dance floor 😉). Concerts, themed parties and more await – and it’s packed every weekend. When the well-known acts of the electro scene spin here you need to grab tickets early online or queue up, which can take a while. Still, waiting can be worth it and is quite bearable when you know what’s inside. Three floors, plenty of space and massive sound!
The Docks regularly hosts very special events. It’s worth checking in advance what’s on the schedule . LGBT parties, live shows and theme nights – anything is possible!
Prinzenbar
Once you’ve passed the first bar and the main floor inside the Docks, the Prinzenbar awaits. This old cinema is now an integral part of the venue and serves as a separate dance floor in glamorous disco style. Mirrors, disco vibes, balcony and more. It’s a tasteful change within this massive location. On selected evenings the Prinzenbar also opens as its own location.
Main floor
This main floor is huge and the sound is impressive. The layout is remarkably clever and guest-friendly because two special features make the stay much more pleasant than in many smaller, cramped clubs in the area. First, the balcony offers a welcome spot when you need a break and want to overlook the entire floor, and second … the long bars.
Bars
Thank goodness for long bars and enough staff! Everyone knows the scramble at the bar when the place is packed and thirst levels are high. At the Docks the main floor is basically the hub of service – and that’s a good thing! On both the left and right edges of the dance floor there’s a long, well-stocked bar that ensures quick service. Pleasant! The beer price at the Docks is currently around €3.50, putting it in the upper mid-range.
